Provide mail and package service to staff, patients, and other Hazelden customers.
Applicants should have a minimum one year directly related experience in corporate mail department or United States Postal Service or other common carrier. Position requires Knowledge of U.S. Postal Service, UPS and express mailing vendors, their procedures, regulations and services, including the operation of postage meters, bulk mailing, property transfer, delivery and receipt; ability to apply that knowledge as it impacts the organization. Must have the ability to lift 35 lbs. routinely and spend bulk of work day on feet. Requires Skill in the use of equipment necessary for performing mail center operations such as cash register, postal scales, postage metering machine, computer, telephone, copier, shredder, facsimile. Knowledge of basic math concepts and the skill of performing math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
