Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for providing high-level project management and consultation on the development of video products, digital video innovations, and related technology-based products. This position will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and execution of product development projects, including the supervision of external subcontractors and vendors and managing relationships with external partners/customers and internal team members. These products will meet established quality and revenue standards, are completed within budgetary and schedule requirements, meet customer needs, and serve Hazelden's mission.
Project Management: Provide high-level project management and consultation on video production, digital video innovations, and related technology-based products.
Video Design: Develop high-quality and engaging video and motion graphics products that clearly reflect sound educational design principles. These products will be developed in order to meet the strategic goals of the organization, including targeted revenue goals.
Product Development: Facilitate the development process for products.
Market Leadership and Expertise: Conduct ongoing research on trends, market needs and competitor's products. Keep up-to-date on developments in video production, digital video innovations, related technologies, and Publishing's key markets by subscribing to relevant electronic newsletters, other educational resources and attending Webinars or conferences.
Technology Innovation: Partner with internal leadership in developing innovative products through product concept, development, and project management. Provide strategic thinking in the development of new innovation initiatives, particularly involving video and related technologies. Ensure the integrity of the user experience and provide leadership in facilitating changes that need to be made to implement the new technology.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in communications, video production, instructional design, educational technology, English, Journalism or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years video production experience, educational product development or instructional design experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing products specific to Hazelden's markets
Experience working with digital video innovations, such as motion graphics, creating digital channels, streaming video, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
